Who are we?

Saturday we smoke was born over 35 chicken wings as 2 friends discussed all things meat and business as they wrapped up a full restoration of a 1980's food truck.

All of the smoking is conducted in a State of Michigan licensed commercial kitchen, we are not just 2 guys with a BBQ pit and a idea.

Born and Raised in West Texas, I was surrounded by BBQ my whole life and for a short period of time I cooked in several rib cook offs around the state of Michigan.

BBQ sauce is in our blood and we absolutely love to fire up our custom made reverse flow smoker and prepare these smoked meats for you.

This idea for now is just hitting the ground with pulled pork, but who knows, we have a knack for knocking chicken legs and thighs out of the park also....

And if you ask us nice enough, we might just cater your event.
